Our newspaper design philosophy is very simple:
1. Design is an increasingly important part of newspaper journalism. It communicates so much, so quickly that getting it wrong is a serious block to attracting new readers and getting it right is often the key to growth.
2. We think that content must come first and that design is a tool to help get it across. It is a big mistake to think that design can be more important than the ideas and words and pictures that make a newspaper.
3. Our job is to help make the best design for your content and to teach your team how to use it. The most important people in any project we work on are your own editors and designers - not us!

What makes us different from other design agencies is:
* RA's deep practical experience at every level of newspapers culminating in becoming Editor in Chief of two national newspapaers, one in the UK (The Express) and one in Canada (The Globe and Mail).
